Done it three times now. First 2-3 hours are awkward. Then you realize nobody cares and everyone is friendly. By day 2 I had a whole group of friends. Would absolutely do it again.

Smaller festivals are WAY better for solo. At a 5,000-person festival you keep running into the same people. At Coachella with 125k people you can feel genuinely alone in a crowd.
