Community Guidelines

Last updated: April 12, 2026

The vibe

festivism’s community is a place for genuine festival conversation — sharing experiences, asking questions, helping each other out. Be the person you’d want to camp next to.

The rules

Be respectful

Disagree without attacking. No personal insults, no gatekeeping (“you’re not a real fan if…”), no dismissing someone’s experience. Everyone’s festival journey is different.

No spam or self-promotion

No affiliate links, no “check my SoundCloud,” no repetitive promotional posts. If you genuinely recommend something, that’s fine — but your post history shouldn’t read like an ad.

Tag festivals when relevant

It helps others find discussions about festivals they care about. Use the festival tag feature when creating threads about specific events.

No ticket scams

No unofficial resales, no “DM me for tickets,” no selling above face value. Link to official ticket sources only. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Keep it legal

No sourcing or discussing illegal substances, no trespassing tips, no encouraging behavior that could get someone hurt or arrested. Festival safety matters.

No doxxing or personal info

Don’t share anyone’s personal information (real names, locations, photos) without their consent. What happens at the festival stays between those who were there.

No hate speech or discrimination

Festivals are for everyone. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or discrimination of any kind.

What happens when rules are broken

  • First offense: Post removed with an explanation.
  • Second offense: Temporary suspension (7 days).
  • Severe or repeated violations: Permanent ban.
  • Obvious spam or scam accounts are banned immediately without warning.

All moderation decisions can be appealed by emailing community@festivism.com.

How to report

If you see something that violates these guidelines, email community@festivism.com. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. You won’t be identified to the person you reported.
