Festival ticket buying strategy — how I never miss out

After getting shut out of Glastonbury tickets THREE years in a row, I developed a system that's worked for me since: 1. **Set up alerts** for every festival you're interested in. Follow their socials, join their mailing lists. 2. **Presale > General sale.** Artist presales, Spotify presales, fan club presales — get on every list. 3. **Have your payment info saved** and accounts created on ticketing platforms BEFORE sale day. 4. **Use multiple devices.** Phone + laptop + tablet. Different browsers. 5. **Don't refresh obsessively.** Get in the queue early and wait. Refreshing puts you at the back. 6. **Have a backup.** If your first choice sells out, immediately pivot to your second choice.
